When searching for teak wood for the construction of the Great Mosque of Demak, Sunan Kalijaga met with a flock of monkeys who then told to keep the teak wood.
The word “Kreo” comes from word Mangreho the meaning is take care or guard.
The word is then made cave is called Kreo Cave and since it was a herd of monkeys that inhabit this region is considered as gatekeepers.
Kreo Cave Tourism is in the forest area of ± 5 acres located in the hills (Mount Krincing) and Kreo River valley, with the distance around ± 13 km from the roundabout Tugu Muda to the south.
